MANAGER Stevie Aitken was satisfied with last weekend’s opening pre-season friendly and is now looking forward to the visit of Hearts to the DFS on Thursday night.
“It was good to win against Edinburgh City,” said the boss, “and for a new team we played well enough.”
Hearts, last season’s runaway Championship winners are next on the summer schedule and it’s a match that Aitken is keen to be involved in.
He said: “It will be a good test for us on Thursday and it’ll give us another opportunity to give players game time.
“Andy Graham missed the Edinburgh trip and he’ll be included for the match.
“We have other players to look at and the matches coming up are all for preparation although Thursday’s game against last season’s champions should be a cracker.”
Kick-off on Thursday night is 7.45pm and entrance prices are £10 for adults and £5 for concessions – season tickets are not valid for this game.
