STEVIE FARRELL has been named as League Two Glen’s manager of the month for August after Dumbarton’s 100 per cent start to the league season.
The Sons gaffer has won the award with the club for the second time overall after a brilliant start to the campaign.
The award is recognition for Stevie having managed his team to victory in all of their opening five league fixtures – which has of course become six in a row with Saturday’s win at East Fife.
Everybody at Dumbarton FC is delighted to see our manager recognised for his part in the team’s success to date, and congratulates him on the award.
He said: “It is nice for the club to be recognised, and that is who the award is for. The team has been doing really well and it is an award on behalf of everybody at Dumbarton.
“I take the award with thanks and humility, and now we get ready to face Stranraer on Saturday.”
