MANAGER Stevie Aitken today started his re-shaping of the Sons squad for the new season ahead with 6 players departing.
Leaving the club are :
* Donald McCallum (was on-loan at Arbroath FC)
* Robert Thomson (pre-contract agreement with Greenock Morton)
* Andy Stirling (pre-contract agreement with Queen of the South)
* Garry Fleming
* Mark Docherty
* Tom Lang
As well as these, all our on-loan players will now return to their parent clubs. They are Ross McCrorie (Rangers); Sam Stanton (Hibernian); Lewis Vaughan (Raith Rovers) and Sonstrust Young Player of the Year Daniel Harvie (Aberdeen). Joe Nuttall’s loan from Aberdeen has also now expired and the Pittodrie club have already announced that he will leave them too.
The club would like to express thanks to the above players for their contribution to DFC and wish them all the best for the future.
