SPONSORSHIP NEWS : STADIUM IS RENAMED

Friday 20th July 2012

DUMBARTON FC have today announced that the club is to rename its stadium as part of their sponsorship deal with concierge betting service Bet Butler.

The ground, nicknamed The Rock by Sons fans, will be referred to as The Bet Butler Stadium ahead of Dumbarton’s return to the Scottish First Division for the 2012/13 campaign.

The renaming of the stadium is another boost to Dumbarton following last season’s promotion, and the stadium deal also ensures that the Bet Butler logo remains on the front of Dumbarton’s playing shirts next season.

A spokesman for Bet Butler said: ‘We are extremely proud to have the Bet Butler brand included in the renaming of Dumbarton’s stadium, while remaining the official sponsor of Dumbarton FC.

“This is one of the oldest football clubs in Scotland and we hope that our sponsorship will increase the chances of more success on the pitch which Dumbarton fans deserve, while off the pitch they can take advantage of the best betting odds that Bet Butler provides.’

Dumbarton manager Alan Adamson said: ‘We are very grateful to Bet Butler for their continued support. We had a fantastic last season, and I hope that The Bet Butler Stadium becomes a fortress for us as we look to build on our recent success.’
