THE Sonstrust’s 15th annual Quiz Night takes place this Saturday night at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium and there is still time to enter a team.
Helping to organise the event is David Carson and we caught up with him tonight with preparations well underway.
He said: “We have a commitment from 24 teams which is a great response.
“But we do have a few squads who don’t have a full compliment of the maximum six allowed, so if anyone would like to come along and join one of those teams, they will be made very welcome.”
David, who has been quizmaster and host of the event before handing over the reigns to current trust chairman Brian Payne paid tribute to current incumbent Andy Galloway.
“Andy is as enthusiastic as it’s possible to be for the quiz and he’s put in a lot of work in the last month or two.
“Along with help from myself and Alan (Findlay), he’s managed to get things sorted in a reasonably short some of time and we are all grateful for his efforts.”
