Seven months after its launch, and having played a vital role in ensuring the club made it through to the end of the season, the SonsTrust Save Our Sons GoFundMe has now officially closed.
We extend our sincere thanks to every individual who contributed during the most challenging period in the club’s 153-year history. Every penny made a difference in securing a future for the club, and that support will never be forgotten.
Gratitude is also due to SonsTrust members Jo McBride and Cam Watson, who set up the fundraiser and managed its administration over an incredibly turbulent seven months.
The club expects Mario Lapointe’s takeover to be completed this week and looks forward to working closely with him in the future.
