DUMBARTON secured their place in the fourth round of the William Hill Scottish Cup this afternoon, with a strong performance and 2-1 victory over Cowdenbeath.
Excellent strikes from Jordan Kirkpatrick either side of the break secured Sons their deserved win.
Cowdenbeath danger man Jamie Stevenson pulled a goal back for the visitors in the second half, but it was not enough to stop Dumbarton.
