DESPITE having no game today, Sons remain in 7th spot in the Ladbrokes Championship.
Brechin City lost 2-1 to St Mirren whilst Dundee United remained top of the division thanks to a 2-0 win against Morton at Cappielow.
Two former Sons helped Queen of the South to an impressive 5-2 victory against Dunfermline Athletic at East End Park. A Chris Kane double with a Stephen Dobbie hat-trick ensured that all three points would be heading back to Dumfries.
Next Saturday’s opponents Inverness CT has their home game against Falkirk postponed.
