DUMBARTON progressed to round two of the League Cup with a scrappy 1-0 win against Brechin City this afternoon.
A poor first half ended all square at 0-0 and a scrambled Andy Graham goal on fifty-nine minutes eased Sons into the hat for the next round.
Chances were few and far between in a scrappy game, but Dumbarton boss Ian Murray was delighted with the win and a clean sheet.
