DUMBARTON have retained their three-point cushion over Falkirk in eighth place after the Bairns were crushed 4-1 by Inverness CT last night.
It was Falkirk’s game in hand over Sons, and had they won, they would have overtaken them on goal difference.
The two teams have now played 20 games each, and Dumbarton are fully focused on their 21st fixture, at home to St Mirren on Saturday.
Bettering Falkirk’s result away to Morton would put clear daylight between the clubs once again.
Tickets remain available for the St Mirren game – see other stories on the website for how to purchase.
