STEVIE Aitken and Mark Docherty have been rewarded for Sons stunning league form in December by scooping the Ladbrokes Championship manager and player of the month awards respectively.
Under the manager’s guidance, Sons lost only once in five games, collecting three wins and a high-scoring draw.
Amongst those results was the stunning defeat of then league leaders Dundee United at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium.
Mark Docherty’s outstanding individual contribution to the team’s success hasn’t gone unnoticed and the awards panel voted him as the division’s player of the month.
Both Stevie and Mark were presented with their awards at a photoshoot arranged at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium earlier today – images to follow.
