THANKS to all those who have started to sign up for the new Sons lottery, which launched last week – and which will raise vital funds for the Club, as well as giving fans and friends the chance of winning some money.
This new initiative has been organised by the Sonstrust’s representative on the Club Board, Dumbarton FC director Stephanie Park.
She explains: “We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of Sons fans and the wider community.
“So we wanted to do something new that continues to raise funds for our club, but also gives back to those who are contributing to our fundraising efforts.
“Giving supporters the opportunity to win some money is a great way of raising cash and have a bit of fun at the same time.”
The lottery is being sponsored by Signs Express Glasgow, who we are also grateful to for their continued backing.
This is how it will work.
The weekly draw costs just £1 and will take place every Wednesday. Players can bet up to ten lines per week choosing four numbers between 1 and 25.
It is open to everyone aged 16 or over.
The jackpot for matching all four number is £500, but will increase by £50 each week until we have one lucky winner.
We also have a runners-up prize of £50 for matching three numbers.
All money raised goes directly to the club.
The first draw will take place on Wednesday 4th August 2020, and the website is live now for you to place your bets.
Your bets are all placed online through the link (on our page here) in a way that is very easy to use.
Bets must be placed by 12:00 (midday) on the Wednesday in order to be included in that night’s draw. Bets placed after 12:00 (midday) will go in to the following week’s draw.
The club will contact winners direct, and as soon as possible.
