SONS JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW INS & OUTS

Friday 2nd February 2018

WITH the January transfer window closing on Wednesday night, we have rounded up manager Stevie Aitken’s deals during the month.

Of course, the big news was the signing of Iain Russell who came out of retirement to re-join Sons at the YOUR Radio 103FM Stadium.

Also on the incoming front, Liam Dick joined from Stranraer while Kevin Nisbet was signed on a loan deal from Partick Thistle till the end of the season.

And 24 hours before deadline day, winger Andy Stirling became the manager’s final deal of the window, coming back to DFC on loan from Queen of the South.

Three players have left the club since the turn of the year. Kyle Prior switched to BSC Glasgow FC on loan, Ally Roy headed back east to stay with Hearts and Greg Morrison ended his time at Sons by returning to parent club Ross County.
