DUMBARTON grabbed all three points at Glebe Park this afternoon in a tough battle against Brechin City.
A lifeless first half made way for a more eventful second period with Sons emerging as victors thanks to a late own goal by Brechin’s Willie Dyer.
Chris McLaughlin’s 90th minute left flank cross was diverted home to give Dumbarton a precious victory.
The win puts Sons on 13 points, level with Inverness CT and four points ahead of 9th placed Falkirk.
