DUMBARTON will host Albion Rovers in the first round of this season’s Scottish League Cup.
The match is a repeat of last season’s opening tie in the competition, which saw Sons win 2-0 against the Coatbridge men.
Former Dumbarton players Michael Dunlop, Kevin Nicoll and Pat Walker will all be returning to their former home ground as part of the Rovers squad.
The game is scheduled to take place on Saturday 3rd August 2013 at the Bet Butler Stadium. The kick-off will be at 3pm.
