DUMBARTON’S under-19s SPFL league cup sectional tie against Clyde will take place this Sunday (16th) at Broadwood.
With three games already played against Ayr United, Queens Park and Celtic, Colin Nish’s charges are looking for their first win.
Two points have been gained with draws against the Spiders and Ayr and despite a spirited performance against Celtic last Friday, the young Sons are keen to get to get that initial victory.
Dumbarton sit 5th in the West section table on 2 pts whilst Celtic lead the pack with 6 pts.
Clubs play each other home and away for a total of 12 matches – the top two then progress to the semi-finals.
Kick-off is at 3pm.
