DUMBARTON’S young supporters have been in the spotlight recently after featuring on national TV – and now another youngster has raised the profile further.
Nine-year-old Evan Mullen was the winner of a national newspaper’s competition to name your favourite team in the SPFL.
He was drawn out of all the entries to receive a signed ball and shirt from the club in question – which in Evan’s case, was of course Dumbarton.
He and dad Gary, of Old Bonhill, are regulars at the C&G Systems Stadium and as the picture shows, the youngster was delighted with his prizes.
Gary said: “Evan was delighted to win the competition and loves going to watch his local team as often as possible.”
Well done Evan and we look forward to having the continued support of both you and your dad!
