STRIKER Chris Kane today extended his loan period at the Bet Butler Stadium following agreement with parent club St Johnstone.
19-year old Kane has impressed everyone during his initial loan period and manager Ian Murray is delighted to have the talented forward available for the remainder of the campaign.
He said: “Kano has been great since he joined us.
“He’s grabbed 4 goals and provided 1 assist already in 3 games, so I’m happy that we’ve managed to get his deal extended to the end of the season.”
For his part, Chris is also thrilled that negotiations have concluded.
He told us: “it’s great that a deal has been settled as I’m enjoying my time at Dumbarton
“I’m getting great experience and hopefully I can continue playing well and contributing to the team’s push up the league table.
“Saturday’s game against Hamilton can’t come quick enough.”
