STUART Carswell and Danny Handling both had surgery yesterday and the good news is that the duo are on the road to recovery.
Danny’s troublesome knee problem should now be behind him but he now faces a few weeks in rehab to gain fitness.
Manager Stevie Aitken said : “Danny’s procedure went well yesterday and it’s now all about recovery and a plan to get him fit for the rest of the season.
“He’ll be out of the first team reckoning for about four to five weeks.”
As for Carswell, the midfielder is facing a similar spell on the sidelines.
Stevie continued: “Stuart’s nose op also was a success and like Danny he now has a journey to make to get himself back into the squad.”
