TODAY’S first round draw of the Petrofac Training Cup has Sons paired with Stranraer in an away day at Stair Park.
Our first competitive game of the season will be played on Saturday 26th July, kick-off 3pm.
The match is a repeat of last season’s competition opener and Sons will no doubt be hoping to avoid the same scoreline – a 4-2 defeat.
Manager Ian Murray who attended the draw commented: “It’s disappointing that we didn’t get a home game, but that’s the luck of the draw.
“We now know what to prepare for and will now get on with things.”
