A LATE rally by Dumbarton saw them through to round four of the William Hill Scottish Cup with a 3-1 win over Forfar Athletic.
Sons made a bright start through Adam Frizzell on nine minutes, but were pegged back by an equaliser from Callum Tapping on 20.
The game then meandered along with chances at a premium before Dumbarton broke clear in the final 20 minutes.
Ryan McGeever restored the lead on 72 minutes and six minutes later Isaac Layne (pictured) sealed the win.
