DUMBARTON and Partick Thistle fought out a competitive 1-1 draw at the Bet Butler Stadium this afternoon.
Bryan Prunty, one of many second half substitutes opened the scoring for Sons ahead of a deflected Stevenson shot flying past Grindlay to bring Thistle level.
It was an entertaining match despite it’s ‘friendly’ nature and proved to be a good workout for both teams and in front of a decent crowd for Glasgow Fair weekend.
Sons now turn their attentions to round one of the Petrofac Training Cup next Saturday and a trip to Stranraer.
