WITH regards to our forthcoming away fixture against Hibs on the 11th October, Dumbarton FC would have preferred a time and date that would enable fans to go the Scotland Euro qualifier against Georgia at Ibrox, which starts at 5pm.
DFC Chief Executive Gilbert Lawrie said : “Hibs offered us the opportunity of playing the game on the Friday evening, however after consultation we felt that the switch would not be advantageous given our part-time status.
“Hibs acknowledged our response and fully accepted our position”
