DARREN Barr, who captained the Sons squad for the last two campaigns, today joined Morton as as head coach of their Under-20s team.
In 71 appearances for the Sons, the former Falkirk man scored 3 goals.
Manager Stevie Aitken offered Barr a new deal to remain at Dumbarton, but the role of heading up the Cappielow club’s youth development proved to be too much of a draw.
All at Dumbarton FC wish Darren well in his new position.
