STRIKER Rory Loy has joined Dumbarton on a two-year deal to become the club’s latest close season signing.
The 30-year-old has vast experience of higher levels of Scottish football, having most recently turned out for Falkirk.
He also counts St Mirren and Dundee among his former clubs.
Manager Stevie Aitken said: “Rory could easily have stayed full-time and had offers to do so, but chose to come here. It says a lot about the club.
“We’re delighted to get this signing done and we’re confident we’ve signed a player who will be a huge part of our ambitions this season.”
Chairman John Steele added: “This is another feather in the club’s cap that we are able to secure a player of Rory’s quality.
“We are extremely grateful to our stadium sponsors C&G Systems, who helped to make it possible.
“Signing activity of course needs to continue over the next few weeks and our supporters have a big part to play by renewing season tickets and taking advantage of our fantastic sponsorship deals.
“This team is shaping up to be worth watching this season and we would urge our supporters to sign up as soon as they can.”
You can sponsor Rory’s jersey for £100 including VAT as per our previous story.
