Thursday 20th August 2015
ST Johnstone midfielder Scott Brown is Stevie Aitken’s latest squad addition, with the 20-year old arriving on-loan till January 2016.
Scott started his career at Clyde before moving to Bradford City in 2011.
Saints manager Tommy Wright then signed him from City in the summer of 2013 and he’s made a total of 15 appearances for the Perth club, the last being Hearts 4-3 win on 2nd August.
Boss Aitken commented: “With Jamie Lindsay being unavailable for a considerable period of time, I’ve decided to add to the squad.
“When Scott became available we decided that due to his quality he’s be an ideal fit for us, so I’m happy to get him on board.”
Stevie revealed too that he’s likely to have another couple of players in his squad for the weekend.
He said: “We are working hard at the moment to bring in at least two guys before we face Queen of the South. Hopefully we can get things confirmed pretty soon.”
