EXPERIENCED defender Brian McLean has joined the ranks at Dumbarton, today completing a deal until the end of the season following international clearance.
Brian is nothing if not well-travelled – his last two clubs have been in DPMM in Brunei (his second spell with them) and IBV in Iceland. He has also played down south for Preston North End.
The brother of referee Steven McLean, Brian has also played extensively in Scotland for Motherwell, Falkirk, Dundee United, Ross County and, most recently, Hibernian.
He also has one full international cap for Northern Ireland, although he was later ruled ineligible to gain more.
Manager Jim Duffy said: “Brian will give us another option in the vital remaining games of this season.
“He is an experienced campaigner and we’re pleased to get him on board.”
