WINGER Stefan McCluskey has become part of the Dumbarton squad for the 2019/20 season, completing a one-year deal at the club today.
And manager Jim Duffy has undergone a familiar process – as this is the third time he has signed the 28-year-old.
He first signed him for Clyde from junior outfit Shotts Bon Accord in 2012, and when the gaffer went to Morton two years later, he took Stefan with him.
After leaving Cappielow in 2016, McCluskey has played for Peterhead and Alloa Athletic before returning to the junior ranks with Pollok, where he joins Sons from. The Newlandsfield club finished third in the Central Super Premier League last season.
Jim said: “Obviously from having worked with him before, I know what Stefan can do and I’m looking forward to seeing what he does in a Dumbarton jersey.
“He made himself a key part of the Morton side which won League One in 2015, scoring seven goals in 30 games.
“I know our fans are keen for more signing activity and rest assured, I am working on it.”
Details of how to sponsor Stefan’s jersey for the coming season will follow in due course.
