MANAGER Stevie Aitken today announced that Willie Gibson has agreed to move from Stranraer to Dumbarton.
Willie will officially complete paperwork and sign his contract at the Dumbarton Football Stadium this coming weekend
Dumfries born, Willie started his career with his hometown club Queen of the South.
Gibson went on to make 270 appearances for nine clubs in total, including two spells for St Johnstone.
The 30-year old scored ten goals in twenty outings with the Stair Park club last season.
Stevie Aitken said : “I know Willie well from our time working together at Stranraer.
“He’s a versatile player who has great ability.”
