DUMBARTON have agreed terms with attacking midfielder Dimitris Froxylias, who has joined the squad subject to international clearance.
The 24-year-old was born in Greece, but has played youth international football for Cyprus. His first club was AEK Athens, for whom he is the youngest player ever to play in European competition when he was aged 17.
Since then he has turned out for Apollon Limassol, AEK Larnaca, Enosis Neon Paralimni and Nea Salamina, while his last club was Ermis Aradippou. He is also a Cypriot under-19 international.
Subject to international clearance, Dimitris will be available for Saturday’s Irn Bru Cup tie with Connah’s Quay Nomads.
