DUMBARTON have made defender Willie Dyer their first newly-signed player of the 2018 close season, with the 31-year-old checking in from Brechin City.
As well as facing Sons with the Glebe Park club last season, Willie was also in the Dundee squad who beat Dumbarton to win the 2014 Championship title.
Manager Stevie Aitken said: “Willie has vast experience of our level of football and that will make him an important player for us this season.
“I’m delighted to have him on board and we’re hopeful that our squad numbers will grow in the days and weeks to come.”
Details of how to sponsor Willie’s home and away jerseys will be made available in due course.
