18-YEAR OLD highly rated Donald McCallum this afternoon pledged his future to DFC by agreeing a 1-year deal.
Donald, who was on the fringes of the first team squad last season and contributed two goals in only 26 minutes of first-team football, is sure to be a fans favourite in the campaign ahead.
Like Mikey Hopkins who signed earlier today, Donald can still play for the development squad in the 2015/16 campaign, and will be looking to established a first team place.
Richie Salveta was delighted at today’s news.
He said : “Donald deserves the opportunity and it’s another piece of good news for the Sons Academy with two graduates making it to the first team in the one day.
“It’s a real boost for everyone, not least for the players, and the coaches too will get a lift.”
