SONS have swooped to sign Alloa Athletic striker Kevin Cawley who has agreed to switch to the Dumbarton Football Stadium for the season ahead.
The former Celtic youth player, who appeared 42 times in the Wasps colours, has signed a one-year deal.
Sons fans will recall that Kevin scored against his new team in April when Alloa defeated Ian Murray’s team 3-0.
Assistant manager Stephen Farrell commented: “I’m delighted to be able to announce our latest addition to the squad for the 2015/16 season with the capture of Kevin.
“He’ll give us presence, is athletic, can defend from the front and can play. We’ve known about his abilities for a long time and he’ll be good at Dumbarton.
“In addition he played with the gaffer at Stranraer when Stevie was assistant manager. We’re really looking forward to working with him.”
Welcome to the club Kevin!
