36-year old Frazer Wright today joined up at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium following the defender’s release from St Johnstone.
Wright, is a centre-back and started his career at Stranraer and made close to 200 appearances before moving to Kilmarnock.
He signed for St Johnstone in 2011 and made 29 appearances last season for the Perth club.
Wright played 108 times for the Perth side and was part of the Scottish Cup-winning line-up in 2014.
His final appearance for the Saints was on 8th August against Inverness CT in a 1-1 draw.
Frazer joined up with his new teammates at the club’s Glasgow training facility last night with manager Stevie Aitken delighted to have persuaded him to sign for Sons.
He said: “Frazer is someone we looked at when we first came in to the club and when the chance to get him after his St Johnstone release we had to follow it up.
“He’ll give us options and I’m obviously happy to have his services.”
