SESSION WENT WELL

Saturday 1st December 2012

WINTRY weather scuppered today’s Scottish Cup tie at the Bet Butler Stadium, but gaffer Ian Murray and assistant Jack Ross put their squad through a vigorous training session to prepare for the re-scheduled tie next midweek.

Murray knows that a a good cup run could spark life into what has been a difficult league campaign so far and was keen to make sure his players had time together this weekend.

He said: “It was disappointing to have the Hamilton game postponed but the lads responded well in today’s session and we are all looking forward to the game on Tuesday.”

And after putting the team through their paces, the manager then headed off to the Braidwood Motor Company Stadium to watch Livingston take on Dundee in preparation for the league game against the Lions on Dec 15th.
