Friday 18th June 2021
NEARLY three weeks ago, we started a new chapter in our club’s history as we close in on our 150th anniversary.
Will you be part of it?
Dumbarton FC was delighted to welcome Stevie Farrell back to the club as our new manager at the end of May.
A young, dynamic and enthusiastic manager, Stevie is a gaffer in whom we feel we can place our trust.
We have reflected this in making additional funds available to him to strengthen our squad for what will hopefully be a significantly better season in terms of our final position in League One.
We have done, and are continuing to do, our bit. Now we ask our supporters, if they have not done so already, to join us in ensuring we can approach our 150th anniversary in as good a position as possible.
Season ticket sales have got off to a positive start since we put them on sale earlier in June, and we are grateful to those who have either purchased or renewed.
We know that some people are waiting until their next wage before they make what is a big financial commitment, and that’s fine.
But if you’re considering whether to do it, then our advice is simple. Please do join with us.
Season tickets can be paid for in 10 monthly instalments – please contact us to make this arrangement if it suits you better.
Don’t forget also that under-16 season tickets are FREE, giving the younger generation the chance to support their local team at no charge.
And while restrictions remain enforced on crowds at football matches, you’ll also be giving yourself priority access to our stadium if we have to limit the number of supporters.
Should you also be in a position where you need to live stream the action instead of being in the stadium, this too will be available to you at no extra charge.
The times we have lived in since last March have been unprecedented and remain short of what we are used to. But what does not change is that we are approaching a huge milestone for any football club.
It is important that we are looking upward as we head towards that milestone in December 2022. We’ve been working hard to ensure we can do that.
And we’d love you to be part of that effort.
Please get in touch with us as soon as possible with any queries you may have regarding buying a season ticket, and, we hope, to buy one.
We’ll see you soon.
