Wednesday 27th April 2016
As always, a new football season brings excitement and optimism for players and members of the Dumbarton FC family across the world – and for the 2016/2017 campaign it is no different.
The season that is just about to be completed saw the club retain its Championship status, and we now enter the fifth consecutive year competing in tier two in the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL).
Our title as the best part-time club in Scotland was retained in 2015/2016– another remarkable achievement considering the make-up of the division.
As we look forward to the next season our most pressing task, as ever, is to ensure that Manager Stevie Aitken and his staff have all the financial backing that we can afford to give him.
Supporters are a huge part of what we’re doing.
The support fans give the Club is immense and something that we never take for granted.
The club now invites you to renew your support of Dumbarton FC by purchasing a season ticket for the 16/17 campaign.
Please note that we will NOT be sending out renewal notices via Royal Mail as we have found this method of information release to be costly and a huge drain on our part-time resource.
Instead, season ticket holders who have given us a valid e-mail address last season WILL be notified electronically.
As in seasons gone past, to ensure the integrity of our information, when applying for your 16/17 ticket, a form will need to be completed and we can assist with this.
This form is available online click – here
We have two brand new offers that hopefully supporters will respond to.
