Dumbarton Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of defender Sean Crighton.
The experienced centre-half has penned a one-year deal after most recently spending two years with Stenhousemuir in cinch League Two.
The 33-year-old has made over 500 appearances in his career for the likes of Morton, Airdrieonians and Livingston with two league winners medals also on his CV.
Crighton has stepped into the dugout in recent seasons after being named as caretaker boss for the Warriors for a month last season and coaches Hamilton Academical Under-18’s, where he helped the young side qualify for the Uefa Youth League.
Dumbarton boss Stevie Farrell said: “Sean is someone who is a real leader and can have a positive impact on the group.
“His experience will be vital for us over the season and we are delighted to have him on board.”
