SCOTT Linton celebrates his 25th birthday today and everyone at DFC send their heartiest congratulations!
Scott, who was at Hibs as a youngster and lives in Edinburgh, made his debut for Cowdenbeath on January 5 2008 and made 127 appearances, with a further 26 as a substitute. He scored nine goals.
He arrived at Dumbarton for the 2013/14 season as he was looking for a new challenge after six years at Central Park. He quickly became a first team regular, making 34 appearances and scoring one goal.
Left-sided, he can play as a defender or in midfield, adding to manager Ian Murray’s options.
Scott signed a further one-year contract on May 20 2014.
