We will face Midlands League side Tayport in the second round of the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup.
The draw was made this evening, with Sons handed a home tie against the Fife side, who finished fourth in the Midlands Premier League last season. It will be the first ever meeting between the two sides, and our first clash against opposition from the Midlands League – which consists of clubs from around Fife, Perthshire and Tayside.
Tayport defeated Coldstream 3-2 in yesterday’s first round clash to book their trip to The Marbill Coaches Stadium.
The tie is due to be played on the weekend of October 25, full details will be confirmed shortly.
