STRIKER Ryan Wallace has signed a two-year deal with Dumbarton, arriving at the club following his release from East Fife.
Having broken through the youth ranks at Hearts, Ryan first made his way in senior football with Airdrie before signing for East Fife and establishing himself as an excellent goalscorer.
That attracted the attentions of Dunfermline Athletic, and he spent four seasons at East End Park before turning out for Albion Rovers.
His next stop was Stranraer, where under Stevie Farrell’s management he scored 10 goals in only half a season.
Arbroath then swooped to sign him, before he returned to East Fife in 2019.
Ryan has two champion’s medals in his collection already, having won what is now cinch League One with Dunfermline in 2016 and Arbroath in 2019.
Stevie could not hide his delight at being able to work with Ryan a second time and said: “Ryan has, for a sustained period, been a terrific finisher and it is a major boost to have been able to sign him. I know just how well he can do.
“It is no secret that we have needed to bring a striker in for the new season and this business fits that bill perfectly.”
Welcome to DFC Ryan! Hear from him on our website and social media channels in due course.
