CENTRE half Ryan McGeever has tonight completed a deal to remain a Dumbarton player until the 2023 close season.
The popular defender becomes the first signed member of the squad for the campaign to come after scoring three goals since the return to action in March.
Arguably the most important of those was the equaliser in the playoff final first leg at Edinburgh City, which set Sons on their way to a 3-1 victory on the night.
Ryan, who had offers from elsewhere, has scored eight goals in 59 games for Sons in total so far, having signed from Brechin City in 2019.
Welcome back Ryan – we look forward to seeing you back in black and gold!
We’ll have an interview with Ryan here on the club website at 8.30pm.
