WINGER Ross MacLean makes it a hat-trick of signings for Dumbarton today, with the ex-Queen’s Park player checking in at the club on a two-year deal.
His senior career started out with Motherwell, for whom he made his senior debut aged only 17 in January 2015.
After a loan spell with Morton, he left Fir Park permanently in January 2019 to sign for Falkirk. A year later he was recruited by Queen’s Park.
Last season, he played 26 games in all competitions as the Spiders won the League Two title, with Ross contributing two goals along the way.
Despite that, he was released by Queen’s Park at the end of the season and manager Stevie Farrell didn’t hesitate to sign him up.
The gaffer said: “Although Ross is only 24 he has already shown clubs across Scotland what ability he has in the game.
“I am absolutely certain he will be a key player for us and I know he is ambitious for his time with us. We’re delighted to have him here.”
Look out for an interview with Ross on the club website later today.
