STRIKER Rory Loy has left the club halfway through the two-year deal he signed last close season.
The forward’s time with the club has been plagued by injuries which have severely limited his playing time.
He last played on September 29 2018 against Raith Rovers.
Vice-chairman Colin Hosie said: “Unfortunately it has not worked out and Rory has left the club.
“We are sorry that is the case, as Rory was keen to return to action and score goals for Dumbarton. But continued injury problems have taken their toll to this point.
“Rory is a very good man and we wish him and his family all the very best for the future.”
