RONNIE CURRAN

Thursday 25th November 2021

IT is with very deep sadness that we have learned that Ronnie Curran, who played for Dumbarton over 200 times in the 1960s, has passed away aged 80.

Ronnie was a centre half and was signed by Jackie Fearn in 1963. He went on to play 203 competitive games for the club, scoring three goals.

He left the club in 1969. He is listed by our history website The Sons Archive as one of only 32 players to reach the milestone of 200 competitive games for Dumbarton during the club’s history.

The thoughts of everybody at Dumbarton FC are with Ronnie’s family and friends at this sad time.
