ROBERT GLEN has become the newest addition to Dumbarton’s coaching staff, taking up the post of the club’s goalkeeper coach.
He comes with vast experience of Scottish football, having most recently been goalkeeper coach at Annan Athletic, a post he left earlier this year.
At the same time, he was also an academy goalkeeping coach at Rangers. He will also be familiar with his new boss, as he was an opposition scout for Morton during Jim Duffy’s final season in charge at Cappielow.
He also has experience as a first team goalkeeping coach at Ayr United, Stenhousemuir and Clyde and also spent seven years coaching in Celtic’s youth academy.
He replaces Jamie Ewings, who we announced earlier was stepping down, in the role.
Welcome to DFC Robert! We’ll have a picture of him as part of the club’s coaching staff as soon as possible.
