RETAIN YOUR SEAT BEFORE DEADLINE

Wednesday 17th June 2015

THIS Friday (19th) is the last chance for season ticket holders to claim and retain their existing seat for the new campaign.

And it’s been a great start to our close season commercial activities, close to 500 Sons fans already renewing their commitment to DFC.

“Absolutely brilliant,” said CEO Gilbert Lawrie, when we caught up with him this afternoon.

“The mail shot from our database, along with our loyalty period discount, has caught the imagination of the supporters and sales have been great.

“Revenue is important to our Club – any club for that matter – especially as the new manager tries to build a squad for the new season.

“And with him being able to capture the guys he managed to do so far has been helped by supporters buying their tickets early.

“Every penny counts and we are extremely grateful for all the support given so far.”

Commercial director Alan Findlay added: “As Gilbert mentions, getting things right commercially behind the scenes is important to how the club operates and the surge we’ve had to buy season tickets is encouraging.

“The period where ticket holders can retain their current seat ends on Friday, so I’d urge as many fans as possible to take advantage.

“We accept applications via phone and Antonia is available to take payment during our normal office hours and it’s important too that we get correct contact details, so completing the application form helps.

“I’ll have some further news on some fantastic sponsorship deals that we’ve been working on very soon, and this alongside plans for a new online lotto means that we a plugging a few revenue gaps for the long term.

“So far this close season has been very busy but very exciting.

“Stevie’s enthusiasm is very infectious and everyone has had a lift since his appointment.”
