AT PRESENT the situation regarding the resolution of the League One season remains under deliberation, but Dumbarton FC’s chairman, John Steele, remains in close contact with his colleagues and with the Joint Response Group established by the football authorities.
It is hoped that effective decisions can be taken in the near future.
Similarly, it has not yet been possible to determine when a new season might take place.
For that reason, any decisions about future Sons season tickets are also on hold.
In the meantime, everyone is working hard to sustain their clubs and to look at how Scottish football can be continued when the current COVID-19 pandemic has been resolved.
Here at Dumbarton our fans are playing an absolutely crucial role role in helping to keep the club going during a really difficult and challenging time.
Chairman John Steele said: “I can’t express enough gratitude towards our wonderful supporters, staff, volunteers, players and board right now. Everyone is pulling together fantastically.
“The news that our fighting fund is now heading towards £17,000 is both encouraging and, frankly, vital. This Support Out Sons crowdfunding campaign is an absolute lifeline for us.
“Please do encourage anyone who is able to continue to contribute. We will be saying more about the fund and how it is helping us in the coming days.”
