PREVIEW: DUMBARTON v GREENOCK MORTON

Tuesday 20th February 2018

SONS entertain Greenock Morton at the YOUR Radio 103FM Stadium tonight as catch up in the Ladbrokes Championship begins in earnest.

Tonight’s game is a rearranged fixture and follows hard on the heels of Sons epic Irn Bru Cup semi-final weekend, and Stevie Aitken has a different kind of motivation to apply for the match.

He said :”Tonight it’s back to the importance of the league campaign. We have a little catching up to do in terms of games and we enter a tough period for us.

“Morton played well against us in the Scottish Cup and we were not at our best at Cappielow I think it’s fair to say.

“For tonight I can freshen up the squad given that we have a number of players available that we couldn’t play at the weekend.”
