Friday 3rd May 2019
SONS are on the road tomorrow for the final time this season, visiting Gayfield Park, home of the 2018/19 League One Champions Arbroath.
It’s honours even between the two clubs in matches played over the course of this campaign.
A 1-1 draw in August was followed by a 3-1 defeat in October and a 2-0 win in March.
And whilst tomorrow’s game will have no bearing on promotion or relegation from the league, a win for Sons could potentially result in a 5th place finish depending on results elsewhere.
So, still, quite a bit to play for at the seaside.
Supporters Notes: The Sonstrust travel section supporters bus leaves Church St at 11 am and it’s ‘wear-your-vintage-kit’ day! Contact Tommy Hughes on 07710 771341 to book. For most matches at Gayfield, the 36-0 Lounge is open from 2 pm but closes at 3 pm due to licensing laws. Away supporters are welcome unless the match is segregated. The lounge is situated upstairs, to the left of the main stand.
Admission Prices: Prices for admission to Gayfield tomorrow are £15 for adults and £8 for concessions, with an adult and child gate operating for £18.
Team News: With the exception of Rory Loy and Willie Dyer, manager Jim Duffy has no new injury worries ahead of tomorrow’s game at Gayfield.
